After founding their first independent shop in Brewery Square, Dorchester in 2015, Morrish and Banham later switched to selling online as they felt this would be the best way to move forward. Selling predominantly online, it was crucial for their business to have a modern, easy to navigate website which would make the buying process much easier for both businesses and customers. Describing themselves as 'online wine experts' it was important that they had the digital resources to reflect this, which is where Expect Best came in to provide web design, web development and hosting solutions to exceed these expectations.
The team wanted the design to convey a sense of luxury, which greatly informed their design choices. Aspects such as the serif typeface, lack of border radius and colour scheme helped to achieve this, whilst also keeping true to the identity of the company with their primary gold colour being used throughout.
The next stage in the process was to develop the website and bring the design to life. This involved adding desired functionality and webpages, such as an events webpage as well as ways to purchase and contact directly from the website.
